Fish and Chips

Hey! Long time no see, hope everyone's good, let's get down to business.

So, where to start? Well, we flew into England a couple of days ago. As usual I couldn't sleep at all on the plane, however I glanced back at Greg 2 minutes after take off and he was already deep in slumber. I'm not sure how he does it, but it's nice to know that some things in life are consistent.

We hung out in London that night and watched the France v Portugal game. I'm telling you right now, if Italy don't beat the crap out of France in the final, Manuel is in for some serious shit-taking for the rest of the tour. I already have a baguette ready to go just in case.

We made the trek to Manchester the next day to play the Academy 3. Everything was going great until Greg's guitar decided it just didn't want to stay in tune as soon as we started Wristband. Anyway, technical difficulties aside, we played our heart's out and a great time was had by all. I put the Gallagher brothers on the list but I don't think they showed up, a boy can hope.

Afterwards we went to a bar next to the venue and listened to reggae really fucking loud while everyone proceeded to get drunk around me. So I got a kebab. Delicious...

I woke up sometime this morning in a truck stop just outside Glasgow, Scotland. Apparently they just enacted a new law here where you can't smoke in pub's, etc. Now, I expect this crap in California, but this is Glasgow for fuck's sake. I brought some nicorette with me for the flight, however I think it'll come in pretty handy tonight. We thought we'd smoke anyway, but apparently the club can get fined and we like King Tut's, so we'll do our best.

In about an hour we'll hit the stage and play for our Scottish brethren, always a good time and always a vocal crowd. Tomorrow we play our first Euro festival, T in the Park, I'll be sure to let you all know how it goes.

Thanks for all the emails, I'll try and get back to you when I have some time.
