The Great Outdoors

I know, I've been slacking on the blog, don't be hatin', I really need to buy a computer so I can stop scrounging for one. Anyway, let me fill you in on what's been happening.

Dallas is a city unto itself, there really is no place quite like it. It's the only city we've played where the girls proposition the band before the show rather than after. Nonetheless we played hard and had a great time, we rock hard in Dallas, no pun intended.

Then it was onto Denver. All I have to say is where the fuck are all the black people in Denver? The Larimer Lounge is a weird joint too, no backstage. The people were really nice though, but next time try making some noise and we'll come out and do an encore. Remember, you are the gas that fuels the car...

The Salt Lake crowd on the other hand was loud as fuck. It was our first time there but it won't be our last. We weren't sure if the gig was going to happen, as there was a power outage until 30 minutes before doors. Luckily the power was restored and we were able to rock. A truly fun show.

Last night was the first Portland show. I'm actually backstage in Portland right now. We are trying to vary the set as much as possible, as we are doing two nights here, so we debuted King Only for the first time on the tour. Mark, Greg, Jeff and Dave came out for the encore and treated the crowd to an intimate few songs including Hard Time Killing Floor. It really was a magical moment.

Tonight we let loose the hounds, you really want to be there. We just finished soundcheck, there will be a few surprises.

Thanks for the tons of emails, I really can't respond to them all, but I read every one and we really appreciate all the love and support.

Cheers,

Scott
